ProGlove Connect Installation Guide

Installation

If you were already using a beta version of ProGlove Connect (version lower than 1.0) please make sure to completely uninstall it, before installing a stable release.

  1. In order to install the ProGlove Connect App on your device, please download the .apk file from the provided link either
    • directly to your Android device or
    • first to a PC and then transfer it to your device.
  2. Open the ProGlove-Connect.apk file on your Android device. (Permissions for installing third party applications (unknown sources) must be granted on your Android device.)
  3. After the installation process is finished, two different app icons should appear regarding the ProGlove Connect App:
    • One is the PG Config icon which allows you to choose your Integration Path, use Workflow Rules and do a Firmware Update.
    • The other one is the PG Work icon, providing the worker with Scan2Pair functionality.
  4. Please open the PG Work icon once to make sure all necessary Android device permissions are requested and approved before continuing, or set the permissions automatically through your MDM System.
